This is an abstract sculpture designed and constructed by Dayton artist, Roger Sayre. The steel piece is made of two vertical curved pieces painted red with a purple triangle section in the middle. On top are two brushed stainless steel half circle forms which are connected with a metal tubing, painted yellow. The sculpture was dedicated to a slain local neighborhood resident who died near the time the sculpture was completed. The project was funded through the Artist Collaborative Project, a special program sponsored by the City of Dayton through the Neighborhood Initiative Program.
