Two Civil War soldiers stand dressed in Union uniform. On man stands atop a stone column while looking outwards and shielding his eyes with his proper left hand. The other man is dressed as a drummer boy and stands at the base above a stone plaque. The plaque reads: To The Memory of the Soldiers and Sailors of Highland County Ohio Who served in the Union Army During the War of the Rebellion.
